WAEA Fall Conference* – Open to WAEA members and non-members.

Workshop includes: continental breakfast, materials, keynote speaker, general 

art sessions & buffet lunch and exhibits.

                            Sunday, 10/21 from 12:00 to 4:00 pm

Frye Art Museum * – Parents for Art in the Schools

A Parent Docent Training Conference

Time: 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Cost: $20.00.

This annual conference provides parent volunteers in school classrooms with skills, vocabulary, and resources helpful to teach the visual arts. This interactive workshop allows time for participants to practice Visual Thinking Strategies in the galleries and art-making in the Art Studio. Limited capacity. Registration is required; $25 conference fee. Please register by October 15.
